Terms and Conditions
1. Any assistance we may be asked for by customers to help calculate the quantity of tiles needed for a specific floor area, is only for your guidance and we are not responsible for any over or under measurements based upon information supplied by the customer.
2.We are importers and distributors of flooring products, we are not flooring contractors, and can only give for customers own decisions. Basic product and laying instructions are given with each order, but you must then relate these instructions to the composition of your specific floor area. You should always consult specialist sources before laying the floor. A lot of good flooring techniques are available on the internet.
Delivery of Goods
Goods are delivered by a firm of national carriers. It is your responsibility to inspect the goods on delivery to make sure there is no damage or shortages. You must report any problems to us without delay by telephoning 0208 683 4055 or fax to 0208 683 4480, or use our contact form. We may send the invoice separate to the goods.
It is the responsibility of the delivery vehicles to unload the goods off the vehicle but they cannot carry goods into customers premises due to insurance guidelines.
It is assumed that the front door to your premises is easily accessible by lorry and if not, or you have “limited access”, you will advise us at the time of ordering. For delivery problems – due to an inadequate address or extra time needed to unload – there may be extra charges by the carriers which will be passed on to the customer.

Occasionally due to circumstances beyond our control, your order may be delayed or part delivered. We advise that until you have received the complete and correct goods you do not commence laying the area. We will not be held responsible for any costs customers may incur due to delayed, damaged delivery, or unsatisfactory goods for any reason.
If goods become lost or damaged in transit we reserve the right to refund the costs of the goods or send replacements as soon as possible by normal delivery service.
We reserve the right to refund the costs of faulty goods and not send replacements.
Return of Goods
If you place your order in our showroom, and you take goods away with you or your goods are subsequently delivered to you, your rights under the Sale of Goods Act will apply. If you wish to return faulty goods to us, please contact us without delay (see Delivery of goods above).
If you place your order by telephone or email, your order will arrive with written confirmation of pre contractual information as required by the Distance Selling Regulations 2006, including information on your rights to cancel, and how to exercise them.
Should you wish to cancel your order for any reason as allowed under the Distance Selling Regulations, you must notify us in writing within 7 working days after the day of delivery. You can do this by letter, email or fax. We do not allow you to cancel by telephone.
Whilst in your possession, you must take reasonable care of the goods. They must have been stored only in warm, dry domestic conditions. You should ensure if returning goods to us that they are returned packed in the original protective packaging they were supplied in or a suitable equivalent protective manner to avoid unnecessary and avoidable damage. We reserve the right of action against customers who breach this statutory duty. We will give full credit for goods returned to us undamaged when notified within 7 day period.
You the customer must pay for the cost of returning the ordered goods. If you fail to return the goods, or send them to us at our expense, we can charge you the direct cost to us of the return. We request that before returning any goods to us you first contact us to agree best method of arranging this and how to incur minimum expenses. It maybe possible for us to have the goods collected by our carriers, but this cost must first be agreed between us. After 7 day period if you want to return any goods to us it will be at your expense and must be agreed in writing with us beforehand. There will have to be a 20% charge to cover outward shipping costs and re-stocking costs. Goods must be undamaged and in resalable condition.
Most of our products are ex-stock, but some are ‘Special’ orders, made to customers own personal specifications or specially imported which cannot be returned unless faulty.
Advertised prices are subject to change without notice and will be confirmed at the time of placing an order.
We will only supply adhesive and vanish with cork tile orders.
Cork is a natural product and there will always be variations. Please check all products in daylight before laying. As a professional supplier of cork we take all possible steps to minimise these variations; but remember it is the natural variations that makes cork an attractive product.
Cork can be affected by sunlight which may lighten the appearance gradually over several years.
Being a natural product there may be slight size variations but within a premitted tolerance of ±0.3%.
If the goods ordered are not available we will not send substitute goods without contacting you.
